I was in Missouri for two weeks. On my way back to the airport heading to Atlanta, I took pictures of the Gateway Arch as I drove passed it in the vehicle. So I decided to share :)

At 12:00 A.M this morning (5th of august, 2011), Chris brown released his 21 track mix tape called 'Boy in Detention'. It is a free mix-tape, he tweeted last night saying "Almost that time! Just so my fans know I don't make a dime from this. I love yall. #freemusic". The mix-tape features the likes of Wiz Khalifa, David Banner, Tyga, and Justin Bieber (Justin Bieber actually rapped, and to my surprise he did pretty good). In my opinion it is a good mix-tape. My personal favorites off the mix- tape are Last, Sweetheart, Marvins room (remix), Snapbacks back, Ladies love me, The best yo, Strip, and Your body. REALITY OF DEATH (AMY WINEHOUSE)

People die everyday, but why does death become a reality to every one when a famous person dies?

Believe it or not several thousands of people die everyday, but because they are not famous, we do not make a fuss about it. And the truth is, in terms of death there is no difference between the famous and the non-famous. In fact when one dies, fame does not go with one to heaven or hell. It all ends here on earth. Amy Winehouse died on the 25th of July and the whole world shook; and that is totally understandable for a famous person. But what disturbs me is the fact that i know the media would stay on her case for several more weeks and they would talk about a lot of irrelevant things related to her death. This is all in the aim of entertaining people, at the expense of a lost soul or grieving family and friends. It is fascinating the way a dead person would gain more followers on twitter after their death. The moment Amy Winehouse's death was confirmed, her followers on twitter increased drastically (I was forced to ask myself, who are they following?). It's human nature to value people after they are gone so i would ask this question for everyone to go think about. DO YOU APPRECIATE THOSE PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE WHILE THEY ARE STILL LIVING.

BEYONCE'S DANCE STEPS IN HER NEW VIDEO INFLUENCED BY AFRICAN'S/CARIBBEAN'S?

I watched Beyonces new video 'Run the world' yesterday and noticed some African dance steps, but i didn't have any proof so i just kept quiet. I wasn't so surprised considering the fact that she said Fela is a major influence on her new album, but anyways someone shared this video with me today and i am convinced beyond doubt that she did. SHOULD I THANK HIM?

I do not think i ever lived before this time.
I do not think i did good in another life to make me deserve all these.
I honestly do not think i did anything before i came to earth to deserve these blessings.
Disaster is inevitable in some lives.
Some people are born into misery, pain and poverty.
I never had to complain about any of those things.
Life's been good.

Life's a b_tch, one that screws us all.
She is bi, she does it to everyone.
She has no standard, she does it with anyone.
She screws us wherever it pleases her; on the road, in the room, in the class. Just name it, she is at it.
like listen shes having a ball, she doesn't care about your concession??
She gets her pleasure, no matter the measure of our pain or displeasure.

Man Unkind -- 2face Idibia (VIDEO)

If you remember 2face Idibia was appointed as a NAFDAC ambassador sometime back in 2009. He recorded a theme song for FASPAC (Fake And Substandard Products Awareness Campaign), a project supported by NAFDAC. The song talks about people who make fake drugs/ food and kill innocent people. The song  was released today and it is called 'Man Unkind.' It is more like a story and you can feel the emotion through his voice and the lyrics of the song. Long live 2face Idibia. And by the way i am the biggest 2face fan you will ever meet. If you didn't know that before, you probably just do not know me well enough. ;) WATCH VIDEO BELOW




                                               

RING THE ALARM -- ETCETERA

I am not a typical fan of politics, but once in a while i get touched by certain things in the society which are  caused by no other thing but greediness of people. I was on a music blog last week and i came across this song by Ecetera which i think is worth sharing. Talking about politicians and their greedy acts; i think this song came out right on time since we have the elections coming up this month.  VOTE RIGHT!!

This phrase caught my attention -- "How many people have to cry...how many more will have to die in the name of politics"

Louis Vuitton belts look good, but in my opinion they have been abused. Why must your Louis Vuitton belt always show??! and you make it all obvious that you want it to be noticed..VERY TRAGIC...I will probably be the first to wear my Louis Vuitton belt with my shirt covering it. YES IT IS THAT BAD.
